Dave Laatz
Partner, 24 Years Association Experience
Dave is an experienced executive level manager with proven skills in managing application development and technical staffs. Dave founded Data Management Group in 1982 and has been personally responsible for the design and implementation of association systems since 1980. Dave offers solid business management expertise, project management, financial, communications, and human resource skills, and an outstanding background in systems analysis, design, and client/server technology. Dave has provided technical consulting and management expertise to ISCG clients in the areas of financial systems, networking, and Internet applications.

Jim Friedman
Partner, 22 Years Association Experience
Jim co-founded Data Management Group in 1982 with Dave Laatz and directed the corporation's activities in the areas of strategic planning, organizational development, and marketing. Jim is an experienced executive level manager with proven skills in managing application design and development projects. His experience spans over 30 years in the computer industry, and includes both technical and marketing management positions for major computer manufacturers. Jim offers solid business management expertise, project management, financial, communications, and human resources skills, and an outstanding background in systems analysis and design specifically for associations and fund raising organizations. Jim has negotiated and drafted hundreds of technology acquisition contracts.

Sherry Budziak
Consulting Partner, 12 Years Association Experience
Sherry has extensive experience in providing Internet solutions for organizations.  She has served in key leadership roles for associations.  She has particular expertise in Web site branding and usability, project management, eLearning, Internet marketing, and strategic planning.

Sherry was the Associate Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of an Internet company which serviced the not-for-profit and association community providing solutions to more than 150 organizations.  She was a founder of the company and oversaw all business development, production, project management, and new product development activities.

As Associate Executive Director of Information Technology and Web Services at a large medical association, Sherry oversaw a major Association Management System implementation, Web site redesign activities, eLearning programs, and strategic planning.

Sherry holds two bachelors of arts degrees in Communications/ Public Relations and Political Science from Valparaiso University.  She is an active participant in the non-profit sector.  She serves on the Editorial Committee for the Association Forum and is also a member of the American Society of Association Executives and the Project Management Institute.  She has contributed numerous technology focused articles to industry publications for ASAE and Association Forum.

Susan Darrow
Consulting Partner, 16 Years Association Experience
Susan has worked on all sides of association management - as the Vice President and COO of Association Forum of Chicagoland, as a management consultant to associations, and for an association management software company. Susan has extensive experience developing technology plans, developing RFPs, evaluating software, negotiating contracts, and managing implementation projects. She was responsible for all internal systems at Association Forum, as well as the development and maintenance of the Forum's Web site. She also has strong financial and business skills and recently earned an MS in Nonprofit Management from DePaul University.

Sue Kirk
Consulting Partner, 25 Years Management Consulting Experience
Extensive SQL Server Experience. Sue has a diverse business and technical background. Sue has extensive experience in requirements definition, business process reengineering, and implementation of association management systems. She has particular expertise in conversion planning and implementation management. Sue is a true professional and has managed many of the database conversion initiatives for ISCG's clients. With over 25 years experience, Sue's networking and technical qualifications include all of the major Microsoft technologies.

Michael Knight
Consulting Partner, 10 Years Association Experience
Michael has extensive experience in IT Security, Auditing and Policy/Procedure Development/Maintenance as well as both Hardware/Software Implementation and Maintenance.

As a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Michael is authorized to teach courses aligned with the following tracks:

As the IT Manager for a large IT audit association, Michael was responsible for all facets of the IT infrastucture. As a consulting Partner for ISCG, Michael has been instrumental in providing technical expertise to ISCG clients in the areas of database, network infrastructure/services and security.
